Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site. GA4 collects the following aggregate data: pages visited, page URLs (including query parameters), device type, browser, operating system, country-level location, and referrer. We do not collect personal identifiers through analytics.

When you submit an enquiry, a generate_lead event is sent to GA4 containing only the project type you selected (e.g. Fitness, Lifestyle, or Commercial). No other form data is included in this event.

Analytics data is not collected until you accept the cookie banner. GA4 uses Google Consent Mode v2 — all analytics storage is denied by default and only enabled when you grant consent. Google retains analytics data for 14 months. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google processes this data.

Local storage

When you accept or reject the cookie banner, your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key 12bit-consent-v1. This value never leaves your browser — it is not sent to our servers or any third party. It persists until you clear your browser data or use the reset button at the bottom of this page. We do not use cookies.

Form data

We collect personal information you voluntarily submit through our forms:

Enquiry form

• Name, email address
• Project type, preferred date, location
• Project description

Onboarding form

• Full name, email address, phone number
• Instagram handle (optional)
• Shoot date, location
• Mailing address (optional)
• Referral source (optional), additional notes (optional)

Form submissions are sent as an email to hello@12bit.media and are not stored in a database. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and coordinate project logistics.

Third-party services

We share data with the following third parties, strictly for the purposes described:

• Resend— delivers form submissions as email. Your form data passes through Resend's servers for delivery. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics 4 — processes aggregate analytics data (only when you grant consent). See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — hosts this website. Vercel may process server logs containing IP addresses and request metadata. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Data retention

• Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months from the date of collection.
• Form submission emails are retained in our inbox indefinitely unless you request deletion.
• Consent preferences in localStorage persist until you clear your browser data or reset them below.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email hello@12bit.media. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal data).

International data transfers

Form data is processed by Resend and analytics data is processed by Google, both of which operate servers in the United States. By using this site, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
